U13 Club Championship Recap

The South Burnaby Eagles were added as a late entry into Basketball BC's 2nd Annual Club Championships and had only 3 weeks to pull a team together for the tournament. The boys performed far beyond everyone's expectations as they had only played one exhibition game prior to the competition. Our semi-final game against White Rock Christian proved to be the high light of the tournament as the game went into double overtime before being decided by a single point. Jon Thomson with 60 and David Moncur with 49 points over the four games led the team in scoring. Ben Lee and Ryan Moss accounted for another 30 and 20 points respectively.
